WhatsApp 'Delete For All' feature gets major update Innoadmin

Whatsapp has reportedly announced an increase in the time limit of its ‘Delete for Everyone, feature. According to WABetaInfo if a recipient does not receive the revoke request for a delete message within a time limit of 13 hours, 18 minutes, and 16 seconds, the message will not be erased for that particular recipient. It has apparently been implemented to stop the users from modifying the feature to delete the messages sent weeks, months, and years ago.

The feature, which allows users to delete messages in any conversation, was introduced last year, and has seen many changes since. The new update seeks to make the feature even more robust and prevent manipulation. WhatsApp users who want to delete messages for everyone will now have to hope that their recipients don't have their phones turned off for 13 hours. If the recipient of a message does not receive a delete request within the aforementioned stipulated timeframe, the message cannot be deleted. The change means that messages will not be removed from recipients' phones if the device was switched off during that time.
